With live sport having been off the cards for a while, it's great to see Wimbledon (finals weekend 10th & 11th), the Euros 2020 (final at Wembley 11th) the Tour de France (final stage 18th) and the rescheduled Olympics (23rd) back on. Share an interesting fact or stat about your favourite summer sport or run a giveaway connected to these events. An important one is Plastic Free July. Tell your followers how you have reduced plastic in your business or share an eco tip. You either love them or you hate them - it's World Emoji Day (17th) so why not describe what you do with emojis and ask people to comment back with emojis. A great way to increase engagement.
Don't forget!
Once you know the key dates for your own business add relevant awareness days in to give variety to your content and get more reach using relevant hashtags. If you are off on holidays, try to remain consistent by scheduling posts in advance using a tool like Facebook Creator Studio or HootSuite. And don't forget to include a call to action (CTA) on all of your posts so your audience is clear about what you want them to do.
